Birmingham residents are entitled to free and discounted leisure activities across the region. We are delighted to offer Be Active memberships and discounted activities for Passport to Leisure card holders at our all of our centres. Find out more about the schemes and how to apply. Be Active MembershipsThe award winning scheme offers a range of free activities for all Birmingham residents to enjoy. Activities include 1 hour of swimming and 1 hour gym sessions at certain times during the day. To become a member of be active you will need two forms of ID with your name and address on. We will accept the following:
For customers living in residential hostels or similar communal accommodation, including people seeking asylum, a letter on official letterhead confirming residential status and signed by the manager of the accommodation is acceptable. For Ukrainians coming through the Government visa schemes a signed letter confirming residency from the Birmingham householder/host is acceptable. *A Birmingham resident is anyone who lives in a property that pays council tax to Birmingham City Council.
